Red gives you $365 a year btw

A meme showing two buttons: a red button offering "$1 that doubles every day" and a green button offering "Instant $1 Billion in cash (tax free)." The red button appears pressed, humorously illustrating that taking the $1 doubling option would yield only about $365 in a year—a comically bad choice compared to the billion-dollar alternative.

The so-called savings glut that suppressed bond yields for so long during the 2000’s and 2010’s has now gone in reverse. From savings glut to savings shortage, at a time when debt levels and debt service costs are surging, and the insatiable demand for AI capital crowds out the

A few months ago, a foreign media outlet ran an article mocking Koreans for deliberately not buying Hynix's own stock and instead buying SK Hynix on the US market, calling it the insane act of idiots, but now we know who's the real idiot, don't we?

Traditional prop firms are exhausting with their tedious challenges and daily drawdown rules designed to make everyone fail The concept here actually makes sense: straight to funded trading with zero evaluations, balancing risk through dynamic funding rather than account bans

The image depicts a person wearing a pink dress surrounded by surgeons in scrubs holding small TV monitors with static over their faces, symbolizing invasive and overwhelming pressure.

The surreal scene of masked surgeons forcing screens onto a screaming patient serves as a visual metaphor for the suffocating, overly complicated evaluation processes of traditional prop firms, contrasting with the post's argument for a streamlined, risk-balanced approach to funded trading.

Fired and scared at 49 I’ve been at a company for 19 years until it was sold to a private equity company then laid off. It was a gut punch but I knew it was coming the day the owner sold when she told me she sold it to a PE. I was a sign shop manager, fleet manager and purchasing manager. I took a couple of weeks off and worked at a parts store, loved it but left for a bank job. First time ever working at a bank but finance is my passion as well as investing, that was my goal to be a wealth manager. Well I worked there for two years, my first year was great. But then the manager retired and got a new one. I was excited because I knew her and we seemed to get along…so I thought.

Does anyone use advisors? Hi there, I'm new to investing, but I'm an aggressive saver. I have absolutely no clue where to begin, so I figured I'd hire an advisor to help manage my account. The problem is I can't seem to find a firm that's willing to work with me. I have less than $250k to invest, I'm based in the UAE, and I'm a Canadian citizen. I've contacted several firms over the last two weeks, but I either didn't meet their financial requirements or they refused to serve clients based in the UAE. I have a simple plan (RE investing) and I need a professional to help me execute it, because again, I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing.
