$STRC explained to a normie: “You think BTC’s too risky, but you’d love to get a 9% annual return on your money with low risk. Saylor offers you 9%, takes your cash, buys Bitcoin, makes a 30–50% annual return, and keeps the extra 21–41%… because you’re retarded and he’s not.”

If Rohan here is correct and Strategy actually bought 3,400 Bitcoin with STRC capital raises last week... ...that's an annual rate of 176,800 Bitcoin acquired. WITH ONLY STRC ISSUANCE. What do you think is going to happen to the Bitcoin price with this bid on the asset?

Zynx @ZynxBTC · 2026-01-18T13:21:03+00:00

Looks like this purchase will bring Strategy to well over 700,000 Bitcoin. This is more than 3.3% of the total supply. I also expect this to be STRC's most successful week aside from the IPO, with $MSTR ATM making up the bulk of the capital raised. Saylor is not holding back.

Life on a bitcoin standard: 1. $BTC for long term savings 2. $STRC for short term savings 3. @Gemini CC for expenses, BTC back 4. Bitcoin backed loan, as needed The world of finance is changing rapidly

Ragnar @RoaringRagnar · 2026-01-18T13:11:55+00:00

I predict 25-30K Bitcoin purchased in total, and 2-3K Bitcoin from STRC. Bullish.

Mark Harvey @thepowerfulHRV · 2026-01-18T13:27:32+00:00

Saylor hints at an even larger Bitcoin purchase than last week. Given the incredible $STRC volume and mNAV strength, a 20,000+ BTC announcement is likely, in my view.

Zynx @ZynxBTC · 2026-01-18T20:33:47+00:00

Saylor is going to announce that STRC alone bought Strategy more Bitcoin than what was mined last week. ~3150 BTC is the number. STRC was only launched in July last year and has not even reached its full potential. Clearly this is unsustainable. Bitcoin price must go up.

Bitcoin News @BitcoinNewsCom · 2026-01-18T13:26:11+00:00

JUST IN: Saylor hints at announcing BIG Bitcoin buy this week. He sold enough STRC this week to buy 2,564 BTC. Last week MSTR bought 13,627 BTC. Will this week be even bigger?

Bitcoin's next 5X thanks to STRC.

When you realize $STRC is going to completely transform the entire financial system.

Dan Hillery @hillery_dan · 2026-01-18T16:29:04+00:00

The foundation for Bitcoin's next 5x has already been built with STRC.

Brian Brookshire @btc_overflow · 2026-01-18T14:21:02+00:00

₿igger Orange indeed. Should be another big week for the $STRC ATM and most likely a lot of common as well.

J. P. Mayall @jpmayall · 2026-01-18T14:54:20+00:00

If you never got Bitcoin, you missed the spot ETFs too. If you missed the ETFs, you’ll never grasp MSTR. And if you don’t get MSTR, STRC is just noise to you.

Peter Duan @BTCBULLRIDER · 2026-01-18T20:10:00+00:00

3,400 new Bitcoin purchase as projected by Rohan's model. In 1 week. From one preferred alone - $STRC. I thought there was no demand for MSTR's preferreds...

Novacula Occami @OccamiCrypto · 2026-01-18T17:50:38+00:00

This is correct. While $STRC and the other prefs have no creditor claim on any Strategy asset they are senior to the common $MSTR holder. So every dollar of new pref issued has two effects: 1) it reduces the BTC that the common $MSTR holder has any residual claim on and 2)

The whole play has given me pause vs. having BTC in cold storage……..I did have a moment where in my minds eye it worked for my old man…..stuck on a fixed income he takes the cash he has and dumps it into STRC vs. his r****d position of bonds ….a gateway in for generating
