How Saylor treats MSTR holders

The image shows a person holding a gold-colored pipe over a white bathtub filled with water, where a shrimp or crab is swimming around. The caption reads "How Saylor treats MSTR holders", which suggests that the person might be using a special device or technique to treat the shrimp or crab in the bathtub.

The image also contains some text about a "shrimp" and a "crab". However, without more context from the image, it is not possible to determine if these terms are related to the treatment of the shrimp or crab in the bathtub.

The financial house of cards @Saylor built is collapsing. $MSTR 's per-share discount to its Bitcoin holdings is soaring, $STRC is tanking, and Bitcoin itself is breaking down, taking the rest of crypto down with it. Soon Saylor will trade in his orange tie for an orange jumpsuit.

Strategy $MSTR CEO Phong Le said, "I have a 1.75% 30-year mortgage. Instead of paying down that mortgage, I put $250,000 into $STRC that pays me 11.5%. That's 10x my mortgage rate." [Spoken audio]: I just last week bought $250,000 a stretch and the reason I did it, one was just to sort of go through the experience, which I enjoy doing. But the second is I have monthly obligations. And I said, well, I have a 1.75% 30 year mortgage, right? And if I can, instead of paying down that mortgage, put it into an instrument that pays me 11.5%. That's 10x my mortgage rate. I'm I'm essentially making money by taking the money, putting it into stretch, getting 11.5% and paying off my 1.75% mortgage. And where is that yield coming from? Since, again, you're not selling Bitcoin. Yeah, the yield comes from us issuing shares typically into the market. So on the back end, what we're doing is, MSTR are common, right? High liquidity stock, the highest liquidity stock in the stock market period, we're issuing shares and we're using that Pro-C to basically pay off our dividend. And as long as we're issuing shares above net asset value, that's accretive to our common shareholders, and it's good for Bitcoin and it's good for Stretch.

If $STRC were really in trouble $SATA would not be trading at par. If the market doesn’t think 846,842 $BTC is capable of backing $10.5B of prefs at 11.5%, then 19,105 $BTC cannot back $750M of prefs at 13%. If the market thinks $MSTR and its prefs are a systemic risk to $BTC ,

Fibonacci @Fibonacci69 · 2026-06-18T18:32:45+00:00

If Bitcoin keeps going down, will MicroStrategy end up like FTX? Pio and Kaleo discuss the future of MicroStrategy. Pio: "Do you realistically think that $MSTR is going to have to sell 50,000 Bitcoin in the next two years?" Kaleo: "More, and I think it's their best option. [Spoken audio]: Let me ask you this. Do you realistically think that MSTR is going to have to sell 50,000 bitcoins in the next two years? I Think it's their best option 50 like that many more. I think would be their best option personally Because you go back to one thing like you're honored I agree with you that they have made it their clear aim and their clear mission at least especially recently they've shown this, that they want to increase net Bitcoin, right? Which means the total Bitcoin on their balance sheet. But what does that necessarily do to create value for MSTR holders? When Bitcoin goes up, the value is created because the share price will follow. The question is, what's the MNF? What's the multiple on net asset value? So the way they're doing it though, to buy more Bitcoin is costing MSTR holders on their overall share of the assets that are represented. During this bear market, while the price of Bitcoin has gone down and has stayed down, and subsequently the price of MSTR has come down and stayed down, and then now that we have this issue with stretch, that it's not at its par value, it's way lower than its par value, so we're getting nothing out of stretch. Right now, Bitcoin per share is obviously going down if we're only ATMing, thus diluting, MSTR comments on. Absolutely. During this short period of time, yes, absolutely. Okay, so as much as I agree with you on the four-year cycle and, you know, like, I've been one of the most vocal advocates on this platform about the four-year cycle and about, like, being bullish because, like, I do believe Bitcoin can and will get to a million dollars plus one day. I believe it fully. I just think it's reckless right now, the way that MSTR and other assets like that are being advertised. And not just advertised, but the way the structure right now, they've talked about it multiple times. What is MSTR? MSTR is amplified Bitcoin. It's amplified Bitcoin because it's just a fancy word for saying it's leveraged. It's It's levered by what the common, I mean not the common, by what the preferred and the debt above it has used to be able to purchase the Bitcoin. Leverage works great on the way up. I fully agree with that. You can make a lot of money if you've got a lot of leverage and the asset keeps going up, but the issue is you can also lose a lot more on the way down. I do think that at the end of the day, the value of the preferreds, they're going to be fine, right? Like, stretch isn't going to go to zero. Like, you know, it has a solid claim on an asset that's not going to zero. You know, but like, they can't get rid of those dividends unless they buy stretch back, right? Like, that is the only way to realistically, they can defer them. But the obligations accrue. They don't go away. And if they choose to defer them, the value of stretch continues to plummet, which honestly at At this point, maybe that is something that they do. They let it crash and then they use some of their sold Bitcoin to be able to buy back some stretch and get rid of some of those perpetual obligations that they're going to be forced to pay. Because you even look at what they posted the other day, they're like, we have 32 years worth of collateral to be able to pay this out. 32 years worth of funding for the payments. I mean, that's assuming they're selling Bitcoin for 32 years and I get that at the end of the day, they're going to have to do some right. But like, as the price, you, it's easy to just sit there and say, man, because I believe this is going to go up, that a lot of these worst case scenarios aren't possible. But man, like, you know, look at what happened with FTX. It's like, did anybody think that Bitcoin was going to go back down to 16k and that FTT was going to crash below, you know, $20, $10? Like, did anybody see a lot of those different scenarios happening? No. So like, I look at it right now. Again, the lower Bitcoin. The one detail with FCX is the CEO of the organization was using the customer deposits to trade. I mean, that's essentially what Sailor's doing by, you know, taking the cash that people are giving him to be able to buy Bitcoin. Is he trading with it? Not necessarily, but like, he's just stacking it and hoping for the number to go up. And I like, I get it at the end of the day, number will go up eventually. But when you're looking at the overall effect of what's happening, what I'm saying is it's like as Bitcoin price goes down, the MSTR compression of their multiple continues to go down too.

BREAKING: STRATEGY CEO MICHAEL SAYLOR SAID LIVE: "I’M THE ONLY COMPANY CEO IN THE WORLD WHO HAS SEEN HIS STOCK DECLINE BY 99%." HIS $MSTR STRATEGY STOCK IS DOWN 70% AGAIN THIS YEAR THIS IS EXTREMELY BAD FOR CRYPTO... [Spoken audio]: I'm unique in a couple ways. One, I'm the longest lasting CEO of a publicly-traded enterprise software company, and I live to see 99% of my peers quit or lose their job. But 99% mortality rate amongst my competitors, they all sold out over the course of 20 years. That's one interesting. The second thing is we did implement a capital structure so that the founders could pursue the mission of the business without volatility impacting it. And third, I'm not proud of this, but I'm the only public company officer, maybe the only public company CEO in the history of the world that actually lived to see his stock decline in value by 99.8%. My stock went from $333 a share to $0.42 a share. I kept my job, but if you were my board of directors, you probably would have fired me if I did not have a controlling stake in the company. I kept my job and I kept the company and And I didn't dissolve it and sell it off to a megacorp to become the 167th division of IBM. And that's why I'm here today. So people hold on for dear life or whatever it means, right? I get it, right? It's pretty obvious, but I find it's a joke, you know, when people get on crypto Twitter and they talk about how they might have to sell if Bitcoin trades down 5% or it's like you guys haven't lived through anything, right?

The two biggest problems for Bitcoin right now: MSTR and STRC.

"MSTR" refers to market sentiment analysis, which indicates whether Bitcoin's market sentiment has improved or worsened over a given period of time. The current MSR score for Bitcoin is 1, indicating improved sentiment. On the other hand, the STRC (Stop Loss Rate) measures the riskiest position in trading decisions and is currently at 0.54, meaning that it represents high-risk trading positions. These two factors combined show that Bitcoin's market sentiment has improved slightly, but there are still risks associated with trading Bitcoins as seen by the current Stop Loss Rate.
