Ledger Drained via Gmail and Ledger Lost $22K today. Had suspicious activity on my Gmail, received a call from “Google” advising me to report the OAuth violation to Ledger. Did that. Then got a call from Ledger parroting details pertaining to my account and personal info as well. They 1000% had data about me and used it to bypass my usual safeguard, and with the thought of losing my precious savings top of mind, I behaved in ways I wouldn’t usually have. Reports have been made but I don’t expect to see a dime ever again. Please be careful. I am 30, technically savvy as far as the average person goes, practice law, all the things. Never thought it would be me. It can always be you. It’s funny, my building caught fire this week and was evacuated. I was immediately scared for my crypto and for the first time, wandered if I was prepared to store my funds personally.
