This is in state civil service and finance specifically, think “account clerk” to “finance offer”. I currently make $81,000 with overtime opportunities in my paraprofessional role but I am sincerely maxed out in title at the agency. I have also started to become bitter with the agency/leadership. I have an opportunity for $63,000 (less overtime opportunities but still eligible for overtime) with a professional title that could open additional open doors later down the line. Part of the cut is that I am at the max step at my current agency and would be restarting at the new one. The new title does eventually go up to ~$70,000 after step increases.
