What were we thinking?! We really wanted the clarity act to pass even though it was created by a bunch of corrupt politicians with ulterior motives. In hindsight I’m so happy that didn’t happen. We now have rules from the SEC and CFTC, the people who actually deal with regulating commodities and securities on a daily basis. Sure those rules aren’t permanent but that’s a good thing also. We get to see what works and what doesn’t and by the time the clarity act is remade, there won’t be room for political bs, only the rules and regulations that are already working.
