As a developer, which one do you prefer? Macbook or Windows

A MacBook Pro sits open on a desk with its login screen displaying the word "hello," accompanied by a lush bouquet of red carnations against a window backdrop. The image visually answers the "MacBook vs. Windows" debate by showcasing the MacBook setup, suggesting a preference for Apple's sleek design and aesthetic.

btw you can just get an instinct invite from google

A Google search results page displays multiple identical listings for "instinct.com" (https://app.instinct.com › invite), each titled "You're invited to Instinct" with the description "A private invite from an Instinct member. Sign in with your phone number to get started." This visually supports the claim that invites to the private app Instinct can be found simply by Googling "site:instinct.com," revealing publicly accessible invite links.

Finished my weekend tinkering making a microphone for dictation and voice mode! What’s super cool is Claude - Picked the components - Designed the circuit - Made the firmware - Created the breadboard diagram - Did the 3D design - Optimised for 3D printing

A hand displays a finished, compact 3D-printed microphone device with a speaker grille and charging cable, contrasting with the breadboard, wire cutters, and calipers in the background that were used to build it. The setup illustrates the AI-assisted design and fabrication process mentioned in the post, where Claude helped conceptualize, circuit-design, and 3D-model the final product.

Day 1 speed upgrade is real, but let’s keep it honest. Astra / 6.1 Sol default is now ~50 TPS. Meanwhile Opus 5.5 is still sitting around 90–110 TPS on the API. Nice improvement. Still not the fastest in the room.

A horizontal bar chart titled "Output Speed (tok/s) – Oct 2026" ranks 12 AI models by tokens per second, with Opus 5.5 (API) leading at 105 tok/s, followed by Opus 5.5 (Claude Code) at 97 and Fable 5.1 (Claude Code) at 96, while GPT-6 Astra Fast hits 75 and the slower GPT models like GPT-5.6 Sol trail at 28 tok/s. The chart visually supports the post's point by showing Astra/6.1 Sol models in the mid-range (~44–55 tok/s) while Opus 5.5 remains the speed leader at 105 tok/s on the API.
