BREAKING: Fed rate hike odds dropped from 70% to 23% in just 4 days as FED officials hint at a pause.

The chart shows the current market-implied probabilities for the Fed's target interest rate at its October 28, 2020 FOMC meeting, with odds of holding rates at 375-400 bps at 76.2% and the probability of a hike to 400-425 bps (highlighted in red) falling sharply to 23.8%. This visually supports the post's claim that Fed rate hike odds have dropped significantly—from roughly 70% down to 23%—as officials signal a potential pause in rate increases.

When a small-cap finally gets a catalyst, what do you watch next? Something I've been thinking about lately: a lot of small-cap stocks get attention when they announce a new contract, acquisition, product launch, partnership, or expansion. But that's usually when the real work starts. I'm more interested in what happens after the headline. Does the catalyst actually translate into: Higher revenue? Better margins?

idk what to do. been trading futures on prop firms for about 9 months now. still losing more than i win but they aren’t bad loses necessarily. obviously sometimes my bias for the day is wrong and im good accepting when thats the case. but i cant help but feel like im very close to profitability because more often than not, when i lose it’s because im getting wicked out by 10 points or less (i trade S&P 500) and then watch price go to TP. my bias for the day is usually right i just cant get my entry’s down. its very frustrating at times. i take 1 trade a day for a 1:3 RR. my entry’s involve either a higher time frame rejection block getting tapped into or an IFVG, i also dabble with the fibonacci tool. i really want to improve but i dont know what to do at this point. any tips.

What’s the difference between a margin & credit limit? I’ve been trading on wealth simple since 2020 (Covid 🤷‍♀️🙏) Over time they’ve added different products, most of which I’ve taken advantage of, the ones I don’t understand as much I tend to very cautiously dip my toe in, or not participate at all. I have a line of credit (LOC) w them, which is the same as my other bank LOC’s w the additional advantage of if I use WS LOC to purchase stocks, the interest accrued is a tax write off. They’re now offering me a margin account. As I read the margin account info, it seems very much the same as a line of credit. The interest rate they’ve offered me for both the LOC and the margin account is 3.95% and it looks like my maximum limit for both is the same as well (I say it looks like because the stock I’m looking to purchase is US therefore it’s a little bit lower than my LOC which shows straight CAD)
