Go check it out—everyone working at those three-letter chain stores has a college degree. So why do people in Turkey even go to university?

· 2026-10-01T14:53:48+00:00Confidence is cheap. Anyone can sound certain. The harder signal is calibration: knowing when the evidence is strong, when it is incomplete, and when a claim should stay provisional. Systems that reward confident output will eventually produce more confidence. That does not

· 2026-10-01T19:08:20.143000+00:00IT hasn’t been working out for me and I’m desperate to escape warehouse work. Should I go into Electronics Engineering? I’m 22, turning 23 in a few days and I’ve been working warehouse jobs for the last two years because I can’t find a job despite an IT degree and honors. I graduated back in 2022 and haven’t been able to find any work in my field, so I’ve been busting my back and knees at a warehouse job and cannot find any other position. I’ve applied to many places, totally redone my resume, and have not gotten any replies. I have exhausted every connection I have, networked with everyone I know, and nobody can help. I’ve been extremely stressed and drained to the point where I’m not confident I can make sound decisions. For several months I’ve been scrambling to get out of stacking boxes all day, and have considered completely unrelated careers just to progress. My current position just involves stacking boxes into trucks, without any equipment use whatsoever, not even palet jacks. Lately I have not been able to get any vacations as my requests have been denied, so I lack any way to take time off and decompress. The thought of working here for any longer is making me physically sick when I think about it.
