I know a lot of us are sidelined on $VAR. But I won’t be missing out on $BULK. 30% airdrop already promised. Fewer active wallets, which means more aura. Currently invite-only. Codes in the comments.

I love this direction, our original intent with Zerocash paper (the whitepaper preceding Zcash) was to bring privacy to Bitcoin. Haven't read this one, but would love to see our vision of privacy and scalability via ZK materialize on Bitcoin L1.

The image shows the title page of a research paper titled "Shielded Bitcoin: Private Transfers on the Bitcoin L1" by Clara Shikhelman, Mikhail Komarov, and Aleksei Moskvin (from alloc init), dated September 24, 2026. The abstract outlines a protocol for private Bitcoin transactions on the Bitcoin L1 using Zcash-style architecture with encrypted notes, nullifiers, and zero-knowledge proofs, while keeping shielded state maintained off-chain.

This relates to the post as the paper represents a realization of the original Zerocash/Zcash vision mentioned by the commenter—bringing privacy to Bitcoin—specifically by enabling private transfers on Bitcoin L1 without consensus changes.
