Lots of thrust immediately, no hesitation, smooth and all business. That commercial payload needed to get to orbit right away! Amazing work

· 2026-09-28T18:00:52.769000+00:00If a flywheel spinning inside a sealed box is stopped entirely by internal friction, does the box's mass stay exactly the same because the energy only became heat? Imagine a perfectly sealed box containing a flywheel already spinning at high speed. A brake entirely inside the box gradually stops it, converting all of its rotational kinetic energy into heat. Nothing enters or leaves the box during the process. I understand that stored energy contributes to a system's mass through mass-energy equivalence. So before braking, the spinning flywheel should contribute a tiny amount to the box's total mass. But once that same energy becomes random thermal motion, has anything about the box's mass changed at all?

· 2026-09-28T22:31:38.268000+00:00Why do humans have an innate sense of self preservation? *Im hoping this is the right flair I understand evolution and how it stems from that, but how do we have a sense of self preservation? As in how does it actually work and function? If anyone can explain it in more detail. For example, why is it hard to drown in shallow water or why do I stop myself from jumping out a moving car when I know I so easily can? I dont really know how to express it, or if it sounds stupid, but why do we feel such a strong urge to survive and not cause harm?
